Imagine my relief?

Yesterday, I was going to Tweet, "No one ever got listeria from potato chips." But then I thought I should fact check that statement. I asked Siri to look up potato chip recalls and it turns out there have been three in recent history:

• 2016: Kettle Chips were recalled over fears that their product may contain plastic pieces.

• 2015: Herr's recalled their chips over fears that their product were not actually gluten free. (No, really, that happened.)

• 2013: Grippo's chips were recalled because their chips might have metal fragments in them. (I don't know why but this reminds me of Bag o Glass.)

So, then, I thought "Well, no one ever got listeria from Spam!" But in

• 1998: There was a recall for metal fragments found when running the product through a metal detector. (They did know the product packaging was metal, right?)

No listeria-related recalls were found, however, so pig out but be sure to floss!
